El ideario que han hecho suyo los Sembradores de Amistad queda expuesto como sigue: (Proxima convencion... Mayo 2014) 

I. PRINCIPIOS.

a) El hombre –unidad sustancial de cuerpo y espíritu- tiene un valor superior a todo el mundo irracional. Su eminente dignidad no permite que se le reduzca a medio para servir a fines ajenos a su destino personal. Los derechos fundamentales de la persona: derecho a la vida y a la integridad del cuerpo; derecho a la libertad y a la seguridad: derecho a tender al último fin de salvación: derecho de propiedad y recto uso de la misma; derecho de asociación; son derechos naturales, imprescriptibles e inalienables.

b) La familia, fuente de vida y de educación, es una institución directamente surgida de la naturaleza, que debe ser estimulada y favorecida en su unidad, estabilidad y prosperidad. Incumbe a los padres, en primer término, el derecho y el deber de proveer a la formación física, intelectual, moral y religiosa de los hijos. La escuela complementa y suple, en la enseñanza, la obra de los padres; pero nunca debe suprimir sus derechos naturales.

c) El Estado, como gestor del bien común, tiene un carácter instrumental. Su autoridad deriva inmediatamente del pueblo y es legítima tan solo dentro de los límites de la justicia y del bien público temporal. El Estado debe, igualmente, velar y proteger los principios y valores cívicos, culturales y morales, propios de los ciudadanos a los que representa.

d) La vida social de cada pueblo depende, para su cabal desempeño, de la aplicación de la justicia, imparcial y ciega a justificandos que privilegien a personas o grupos sobre derechos y deberes generales de los individuos y las sociedades.

e) La práctica de la caridad se inicia precisamente donde termina la justicia y es ajena a la pura observancia de la misma. Esta virtud nace de la conciencia individual y se transforma por medio del amor hacia nuestros semejantes en acciones concretas y voluntarias de ayuda al que lo necesita.

f) La verdadera amistad, benevolencia activa y reciproca, está más allá de lo deleitable y de lo útil. Es incumbencia cordial y profunda de ayudar al amigo en la empresa de vivir.

II. PROPÓSITOS.

g) Propiciar la amistad sincera entre sus miembros, manteniendo y desarrollando el verdadero compañerismo, ese donde priva la buena voluntad y la concordia, con ideales, principios y valores comunes, y donde se lleguen a hacer propias las penas y las alegrías del amigo.

h) Inculcar en el Sembrador la idea de que él debe tratar de ser un ejemplo vivo de equidad y de benevolencia. Pugnar por una ética estricta, tanto en lo referente a la práctica de los negocios y al ejercicio de las profesiones, cuanto en lo que atañe a la vida privada. Esforzarse por exterminar las actividades deshonestas, las ganancias ilícitas y cuanto mengüe el decoro personal y el ambiente moral de la sociedad.

i) Estimular a la iniciativa particular, creadora y distribuidora de riqueza en productos y servicios, que proporcionan un bienestar progresivamente asequible a todos los miembros de la comunidad. Propagar, por cuanto medio se pueda, la idea de que es a la iniciativa particular a la que se debe, en buena parte, el progreso y que quienes la atacan, conspiran contra el bien de la comunidad.

j) Servir desinteresadamente a la colectividad con la iniciativa, el fomento y el patrocinio de obras que tiendan al bienestar y a la elevación de los niveles moral, cultural, económico y deportivo de la sociedad.

k) Cultivar la idea de Patria, sin que este augusto concepto degenere en un nacionalismo agresivo, exclusivista y estrecho; pero manteniendo su culto, conservando el amor al propio suelo, a la propia historia y a los propios símbolos; afanándose porque crezca el prestigio del propio país y porque se respeten su nombre y su integridad.

l) Enaltecer los valores espirituales y morales que son patrimonio de la cultura universa. Buscar el acercamiento de todos los países y, en particular, estrechar los vínculos de aquellos pueblos que están unidos por su tradición cultural.

m) Los clubes Sembradores de amistad se imponen, como un objetivo primordial, la práctica y difusión de sus Principios y Propósitos, y la fundación de Clubes hermanos en los diversos países del mundo.

The ideas that have endorsed the Sowers of Friendship is exposed as follows:

I.- PRINCIPLES (principios) 

a).- Man – substantial unit of body and spirit - has a higher value over the irrational world. His eminent dignity does not allow him to be reduced to a means for serving foreign objectives than his personal destiny. The person’s fundamental rights: the right to live and body integrity; the right to freedom and safety; the right to strive towards the ultimate goal of salvation; the right of ownership and its correct use; the right of association; are natural rights, imprescriptible and inalienable.

b).-The family, source of life and education, is an institution emerging directly from nature, that has to be stimulated and supported in its unity, stability and prosperity. It is the parents’ duty, in the first place, the right and duty to provide physical, intellectual, moral and religious education to the children. School supplements and provides, with their teachings, the parents work; but shall never suppress their natural rights.

c).- The State, as administrator of the common wellbeing, has an instrumental character. Its authority is derived immediately from the people and is legitimate only within the limits of justice and temporary public wellbeing. The State shall, likewise, watch over and protect the principles and civic, cultural and moral values, from the citizens they represent.

d).- The social life of every nation depends, for its thorough performance, on the application of impartial and blind justice to those justified, that shall privilege people or groups over rights and general duties of individuals and societies.

e).- The practice of charity begins precisely where justice ends and is foreign to pure observance of the latter. This virtue is born from individual conscience and is transformed by love to the others in the concrete and voluntary actions of assistance to the one who needs it”

f).- True friendship, active and reciprocal kindness, is beyond what is enjoyable and useful. Its cordial and profound incumbency to assist the friend in the enterprise of living.

II.- PURPOSES (propositos) 

g).- “Fostering sincere friendship among its members, maintaining and developing true fellowship, the one where goodwill and harmony prevail, with common ideals, principles, and values, and where a friend’s sorrow and joy become our own.

h.- Inculcate in the Sembrador the idea that he must try to be a live example of equity and kindness. Strive for strict ethics, both in business practices and the exercise of his profession as well as in private life. Be encouraged to terminate dishonest activities, illicit earnings and anything that diminishes personal decorum and the moral environment in society.

i).- Encourage private initiative, creator and distributor of wealth in products and services, so that they may provide an attainable wellbeing for all the members of the community. Promoting, by all means possible, the idea that it is the private initiative the one responsible, in great part, for progress and the ones who attack it conspire against the community’s wellbeing.

j).- Serving disinterestedly to the collectivity with the initiative, promotion and sponsoring of works that strive for wellbeing and the increase of moral, cultural, economic, and sports levels in society.

k).- Cultivate the idea of Nation, without having this magnificent concept degenerate in an aggressive nationalism, exclusive and narrow; but maintaining its cult, preserving the love for our own land, for our own history and our own symbols; urging to grow the prestige of our own country and to respect its name and integrity.

l).- Enhancing the spiritual and moral values that are a patrimony of universal culture. Searching for the approximation of all the countries and, in particular, strengthening the bonds of those nations who are united by their cultural tradition.

m).- The Sembradores de Amistad Clubs establish, as a primordial objective, the practice and communication of their Principles and Purposes, and the establishment of fraternal Clubs in the different countries in the world.
